Lost And Fondue (Cheese Shop Mystery #2) - by Avery Aames

Charlotte Bessette is busy getting ready preparing food for the fund-raiser that Meredith is having at the old winery.  She hopes to raise enough money to transform the old building into a college.  Word of the event has spread and it appears that treasure hunters are arriving to search for the treasure that is rumored to be buried somewhere inside.  There is also a rumor circulating around that there is a body buried somewhere within its walls.

Meredith has invited her brother Freddy and his daughter Quinn, along with a small group of her classmates to do some artwork of the old winery.  During the party one of the artists is murdered and Quinn becomes suspect number one.  Charlotte doesn't believe that Quinn is guilty, and starts snooping around to help clear her name.

On top of everything else Matthew ex-wife, Sylvie, shows up threatening Matthew with a custody fight for the twins.  Also on Charlotte's mind is Jordan, who surprised her with a trip, and whether she can really trust him and his feelings for her, when he doesn't seem to want to share things from his past with her.

Excellent sequel to The Cheese Shop Mystery series.  During one scene Charlotte's grandmother calls her husband an "old fool" which brought back to mind Grandma Walton who always caller Grandpa Walton that.  A very good read.  Impatiently waiting for the third one to arrive.
